New investment in Elastomeros Riojanos, S.A.U.

ELASTOMEROS RIOJANOS, S.A.U. has received aid for its energy saving and efficiency project TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGE IN THE RUBBER EXTRUSION-FILTERING PROCESS, through the NATIONAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY FUND and managed by the INSTITUTE OF DIVERSIFICATION AND ENERGY SAVING (IDAE), aid co-financed by the European Union through the Operative Program for Intelligent Growth 2014-2020.  

An energy saving and efficiency project has been drawn up consisting of extrusion – filtering by gear pump instead of extrusion – filtering by screw extruder. The collaboration of the best equipment manufacturers in the sector has been necessary. This has resulted in significant energy and environmental savings, which are estimated to savings of 98.08 toe/year.
